The Lookout
The Lookout is the upper of our 2 pods and its large windows allow you to enjoy the 180 degree view from the comfort of inside. It is the perfect place to relax.
The pod is heated by a woodburner and is designed to be warm, even in winter. It is generously sized with a super king and a full sized bunk bed.
The site is largely unlit so as to maintain the beauty of the night and a sense of adventure. There is one telescope to borrow if you wish to explore the moon's surface.
Amenities
• All bed linen is provided and some fuel for the burner.
• There is a table and 4 chairs, a sofa and 2 comfy armchairs.
• Outside is a picnic table, fire pit and a barbecue. You can borrow a pan for cooking outside.
Facilities
The Kitchen Roundhouse
The shared kitchen is in between the car park and the pods. It has 2 gas hobs with ovens, 2 sinks, 2 tables, a fridge, kettle, toaster and crockery. There is no microwave.
It is unheated but has 1 1/3 feet of insulation and is warm in summer. In the winter it will heat quickly while you are cooking.
The shower block
The shower block, next to the kitchen, is also shared. There are two toilets and two showers. There is also a compost toilet which is closer to the pods.
